Specializing in the Bar Exam
Ms. Martin is a private tutor and practicing Ohio attorney with 11 years experience in law and teaching. Tutoring is her passion and her passion is to "beat the beast," known to most as the State Bar Exam.
Over the years, Ms. Martin has met good and hard working students who fail one or more times to pass this bar that keeps you from repaying your massive student loan debt. With her help, they overcame their deficiencies because she was able to identify where they were going wrong. Was it the underlying substantive law? The MBE? The MPT? The essays? Test taking issues? Or, some dreadful combination of all of the aforementioned? Does this describe you? How will you "beat the beast?"
Today's student can invest over $100K in his or her legal studies only to find that they cannot practice law. And, to add insult to miserable misery, there isn't much one can do with a JD. Go ahead, google it and you'll see. That's why you have to "beat the beast."
Help is on the way! The relief you've been seaching for is here. The take-charge attitude you need can be yours. It's a simple call or click away. Do something you haven't been able to do thus far, take charge of your legal career and future. Where law schools have not adequately prepared you to sit for this exam and abandoned you as a worthless statistic that they prefer not to track, we will help direct you to overcome and "beat the beast."
Haven't you wasted enough of your life already? Your loved ones don't get it, do they? Just study 12 hours a day and you'll pass, right? Wrong! WRONG!! WRONG!!! You know that now, right? You've got to do more than that to "beat the beast."
Want to take this a third, forth or (omg) a fifth time? It is entirely probable that you will. If you are reading this than odds are that you haven't passed at least once. It is my opinion based on careful attention to detail over years of working with students that frequent takers score lower and lower on each exam as they get farther away from law school. Perhaps you can look forward to that accomplishment as well. The farther you move away in time from your law school education, the more desperate your situation wil become. Let's fix things now, while we still can "beat the beast."
As you can tell, we at Northcoast Bar Review understand how you feel and are passionate about helping you "beat the beast!" It's what we're all about! Why wait any longer?
Nearly 400 prospective lawyers took the February 2012 Ohio Bar Examination Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Columbus.
The bar exam featured various components, including 12 essay questions covering 11 topics, the Multistate Performance Test and the Multistate Bar Examination.
Of the two annual bar exams, fewer attorney hopefuls take the February exam than the exam in July.
Results from the exam were announced on May 4, and individuals who passed the exam and meet all other requirements for admission will be sworn in as attorneys on May 14 during a special session of the Supreme Court of Ohio at the historic Ohio Theatre.
According to the Supreme Court web-site there is a separate filing deadline yet to be announced for only those who did not receive a passing score on the February 2012 exam. Keep an eye out for those dates. For those applicants, late fees would apply for those that don't file timely.
We have no statistics yet on the February Bar, however, my students indicated that this test was very difficult and if past percentages hold true, only 60% will pass.
